Val, a late night swim sounds great. 70 degrees sounds good to me too.

So...some fitness instructor wants to pump you up, huh?

Good morning OC.. We didn't need to fight over the air conditioner last night.. I woke up to degrees in the forties.. Brrrrr... it was a touch of fall..

How are the fires doing up there? I hated to see all that damage.. What lovely homes and trees were taken.. It will ruin the landscape for so long, and it's such a pity..

Mo...my neighbors were sitting on their front porch this morning in shorts and no shoes, having their coffee. It couldn't have been more than 45 degrees.

Now those are two hearty New Englanders.. I was cold in the house... :(

Chloe is just as sweet as sweet can be, isn't she?

I hope you are making an archive of these Grannie.

(Actually, it will be her kids that get the most enjoyment out of seeing them.)

Your still life is another contender for the most excellent picture at a photography competition.

Is that a piggy bank on the mantle? Cute.

That explains it. I thought you would put dimes in through that little opening in the front.

Love that long silky hair, Only trouble is how much time it takes to keep it looking good, and don't ever walk through woods with tall weeds with it.

My Vanessa had long hair like that, cut it short to go to China. That way she wouldn't have to take care of it when she had only a few minutes to get ready in a hotel room.

I'm posting from my new Windows laptop this time.

She has finally reached the age where she does it all herself. She's very clever with her hair now. Of course having an Aunt that's a hairdresser, and a sister that's becoming one helps..and she does some mean braids..;)

The new laptop? Do I remember you saying that you all got new ones at work?

still the whole area should be carpeted so it all harmonizes and doesn't look patchy...I wouldn't mind all that really but I dread moving ALL THAT FURNITURE....

I hear ya about moving the furniture .. When we had to move the kids furniture & junk to have the new rugs put in .. we ran out of places to store it all ..

Maybe pick a rug that will match well with the old rug. and that way you won't have to do all that extra work.
