Of all Classic Styles I love Baroque myself. Classic Composers I think Mozart was a rocker and a true genius. But I find the classic influence in all kinds of music. I like older rock, some alternative, classical, a lot of country pop, some hip hop, no rap. I like some blues, some jazz, and instrumental blue grass. All form of music is good but there are a lot of bad performers.

Unusually for a classical fan, I loathe most jazz. It's just too empty. I think rap, like minimalism, should have been done once, and they should not have been made into genres. There is the occasional good popular song, but I find most of it empty caterwauling. And REPETITIVE!! My God, exact repetition of the same phrase umpteen times in the course of a 3 minute song!! No art, no brains, no soul, no plan, no subtlety, no good.

For example, I was sick to my stomach at Celine Dion's famous Titanic song half way through the second time I heard it. The person who wrote at came up with two-thirds of a great tune, and proceeded to repeat the whole tune over and over and over and over and over and...

I'm partial to Baroque too, but Romantic really gets under my skin.
