I wish I could translate to you the looks of the guys as they got their stockings. You and your friends at the Hobbit Hole have really brought home the fact that people out there really care about us and what we are doing. The stockings are the talk of the Battalion!
I just wanted to say thank you. We are so gratefull for your gifts and especially your prayers. No matter who shoots at us or how many mortars fall among us we always come out unscathed. I can only attribute that to the heartfelt prayers that you all are sending us. Thank you.
Sgt Perkins does have the same address by the way. One more week and I finally get to meet my son. Thank GOD. Time is flying by. It all went by so fast! Im very happy to be going home but very sad to be leaving my men. They will be in good hands.
