The Hobbit Hole IV – The Road Goes Ever On…
Posted on 08/04/2003 9:43:18 AM PDT by HairOfTheDog
Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
The Road Goes Ever On
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

Nahhh.....Miss Cat is a spoiled brat only cat. She would be terribly upset with me if I brought another cat home.

From the way my Mom describes it, that was my great-grandmother's kitchen. She said when they were kids and went to visit, her Mom would scrub the kitchen from top to bottom before she would let the kids have anything to eat.
My mom's aunt lived in that same house until she died (in her 90s). Always had about 20 cats. So when the meal was potluck, you always wanted to know to avoid the dish Aunt Lula brought.

I need to start playing again. Haven't played much since I moved. Wonder if the neighbors can hear it?
To: Wneighbor; schlohweiss
Morning neighbor.
Hi Schlohweiss, and good morning.
To: 2Jedismom
That's one I play, though that version is a little different. Not enough different that the two wouldn't work together, though.
I want my mandolin. Sigh.

Left the ... perennial?..."persistent" herbs and strawberries out.Yes, I am anxious to see how this lemon balm makes it through my winter! I have 2 pots of it and then the wonderful amount in the back yard. I brought one of the pots in the house and left one on the back porch beside the hot water heater closet where it will stay sorta warm. Already checked to see what that outside looks like right now and it looks fine - even on the northern most windy part of the property!
