Maybe her fightin' armor is shorter.
To: JenB
Ice and wrapping will keep it from swelling....

There are always tights. Elves can wear tights. We are comfortable that way.

hey, you still up and about?
To: Faraday
Faramir is the most interesting, because not only is he a man, but the brother of one greatly affected by ring, and son to a man dominated by a palantir. Yet he is largely unaffectedSomewhere, I picked up that Faramir had spent a lot of time with Gandalf, when the latter came to Minas Tirith to read about the ring in the time between Bilbo's party, and his return to warn Frodo about it. He was more influenced by Gandalf than his father, and that also may be a source of the animosity Denethor feels toward Faramir. But if Faramir had learned some of what Gandalf had learned about the ring, then he would have known a little of it's power to corrupt, then that may have made him more immune to it's pull at the time he encountered Frodo and Sam in Ithilien.

Good morning!
Only two days of work this week. And there aren't any students or faculty here. It's verrrry quiet.
Stayed up too late last night watching TTT EE special features. I still have quite a bit left to watch. Once again, I'm mightily impressed by the work and attention to detail and love that went into these movies! I want to watch the miniatures section again. I find those really fascinating. If I was to get into any type of art in particular, sculpture is what most attracts me. However, I'm a lousy artist!
DC...we didn't scare you off, did we? ;-)
