hey everybody... been a real busy weekend... company and a missions conference at our church... been tryin' tuh keep up, but ain't had time tuh put t'gether a coherent post...
visit with my sis and her husband went okay, yet I am deeply troubled with my sister's relationship to our Lord...
shot me a four point buck last nite at 25 minutes past sunset... I thought he was a doe, or I wouldn't have taken him... great shot shot tho'... crossbow, 35 yards, almost no light, double lung hit... he went 'bout 30 yards... thekids helped me field dress it...
gotta get him to the locker and get on the road to Columbia tuhday... seems the VA needs to see me fer themselves...

At least I have coffee...and my windshield wasn't as frosted over as it could have been. BOTH of my scrapers are currently in my Toyota...or my brothers, I should say.
And I brought the banjo with me to mess around with during lunch. I'm really likin' this little guy! Tonight will be its debut in the bigger music group...I'm wondering what people will think of it. Hopefully the guy who gave it to me will be there so he can hear how it turned out!

Made it out to see Revolutions this weekend. It was satisfactory, but not spectacular. I appreciated the uncomplicated plot and the lack of gratuitous kung fu, sex, and theophilopsycho-babble. Kind of a bittersweet way to end the story, tho. Sati (sp?) was a cutie-pie.

I am up... Watched the Jessica Lynch dramatization last night on TV.
Today I have a meeting out of town later and have to go trade trucks back with Dad. ecurbh is gonna ride along for the scenery and keep me company.

But they DID have the first mention of this sonar system.How much? Looks like the perfect Chrismas gift to me! We do have an expensive GPS system thingie my husband uses. But that one looks good too.
W and i are here at my work right now. She is getting ready to leave to head back to the North, and get her news.
We did a lot of fishing and eating, and then we slept, but not enough.
She'll post the pics when she gets home.
It has been a wonderful weekend. She is a darling to spend time with.

Well, Steve is home today and tomorrow. We are doing Fall Cleaning...going through and doing the hearvy duty scour and throw-out. We have enough sheets to wrap our whole house in them...we're getting rid of them!
But we didn't have time for our pancake breakfast this weekend, so Steve went to get the fixin's. So I get to check in briefly...

Okay, I'm fixin' to hit the road and head home in just a few minutes. Not going all the way to the far frozen north today - only to W's Neighborhood. Gonna make my favorite Aunt and Uncle buy my supper tonight and then get a tune-up for my pickup tomorrow. Will be home late Tuesday evening and check in then!
Fishmoot 1 was wonderful!!!! I had SO MUCH FUN!!! Have lots of photos! You will love this.

Relatively quick...they had it about three weeks. But considering they had to order parts and had a backlog of repair orders, I'm happy with the turn around!
