The Hobbit Hole IV – The Road Goes Ever On…
Posted on 08/04/2003 9:43:18 AM PDT by HairOfTheDog
Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
The Road Goes Ever On
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

It's why Les Miserables weighs about ten pounds. Yes, but once I read it, the musical made so much more sense.

Surely you don't think elves feel pressure? Look at Elrond's face. He's definitely feelin' some internal pressure...

Okay, sooooo...I get this "apology" card from my Mom. Nice card, but inside there's a post-it note that reads:
"This has just worried me for a long time and I want all things clear before I die. I should not have meddled but felt this was my debt as well as yours. Let's consider the matter closed, and let the hard feelings dissolve."
Roughly translated from the Dwarvish it means: "I'm going to pay him behind your back."
So, I just fired off this detailed email to my step-brother. Told him the whole story, why she brought it up, etc. Told him I didn't care what anyone else thought, but that if HE thought we owed him money I want to clear it up. We'll see what he says.

Hope his calling brings him a lady.. Or he could try the internet. ;~D
