The Hobbit Hole IV – The Road Goes Ever On…
Posted on 08/04/2003 9:43:18 AM PDT by HairOfTheDog
Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
The Road Goes Ever On
The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,
Pursuing it with eager feet,
Until it joins some larger way
Where many paths and errands meet.
And whither then? I cannot say.

Wow!!! Pouring. I am forgetting what that means anymore living up here in this plain. I miss the rain on the roof at night - ya know. Used to have a metal roof on the bedroom.
We're in such a state that 2 local towns have run out of water and are having to buy it from Wichita.

Hi y'all, I have finally gotten out and given dear sweet FlatFrodo a tour of Richmond. We went to the courthouse, ate at an old fashioned diner, wandered an old cemetary, and snuck into a museum.
Unfortunately, I am going to be out of town a majority of this week, so I will not be able to give the full chronicle of our journey until I get back. I am so sorry ! :< :<
There is a *slight* chance we will be able to go to Galveston after all, but there will have to be a lot of strings pulled. Im having to explain to FlatFrodo just exactly what I mean when I raise my fist to the sky and say "as God is my witness, I'll think about that tomorrow."

And since there won't be time for the webmaster to put them on the website until next week at the earliest, there is no hurry right now.

I actually heard on the news that some parts of WA are having flooding difficulties! The rivers are full, some are flooding, but rivers do that... in much the same way every year!

Nope. Monday is a short day for me. I come in at 3:30 and work till 9:30. Same on Wednesday. Tuesdays and Thursdays are my terrible days. 7:30 AM till 9:30 PM. But then, ya know, I don't exactly work on Friday unless they make me have a meeting or sumthin'.
