I was (and am) VERY in tune with my own physiologic stateWe're an NFP couple too! I know what you mean about Docs not believing you when you tell them something about how your body works and they don't believe it. I want to say "whose body is it, bud?"

Fascinating! - Did you stop to read the posts, or were you just counting?
Seems like you could use even a Search and Replace in Word to count posts by poster if it were all one document. ( searching for "by Bear_in_Rosebear" would exclude posts "TO" you....
It would be nice to have a searchable version of the threads that we could do a word-search on.... So I would like to have them as Word Docs if that is what you did... Perhaps they would be emailable? - I know they will be big if you saved the pictures.
It is so hard to find stuff on the big threads now, only being able to search a page at a time for a keyword in a particular post we are looking for.

No, didn't read them all... although when I was downloading them I couldn't help but read some!
I used the search functions in a program called TextPad to pull out the "post" line that appears at the bottom of each message, and then again to crank those results to get the number of posts by each person. It worked well for getting the post line, but getting the numbers was more bothersome. I think I can write a little script to grab the poster's name from each post line and keep count of each name as it appears. Should only be a few lines of code...
I've been thinking of a database of posts that we could make searchable... would have to strip out the HTML code and recover the important stuff like the post number, who it was to, who it was from, and the body of the message. That's going to be further down the road, though...
The files themselves are plain-text HTML files... I just displayed 250 messages at a time and then did a "Save" from my browser window. My browser includes the option to "Save with Images", which is how I captured the pictures too. But, the pics are saved as separate files (.gif or .jpg, whatever they were.)

Impressive if you can crunch it down like that. I wouldn't know how to do any of that. I am good with a database, but this is in a form I am not sure how to handle.
