It's the other way around. Mostly blacktail on this side of the cascades, and mostly whitetail and muley's on the eastern side of the mountains.
Those familiar with hunting in western washington will be also familiar with the idea of "hunting with a golf club". The underbrush is so thick over here that any hunting is usually done at a range that could just as easily be done with a short sword or a 7-iron.

I always thought of prudes as being sort of angry arrogant type people. I don't feel angry so much as just sad.

hehehe... yah, but the whole "huddle" thing still has me a little creeped out. :-)
BTW: my keyboard still isn't back to normal yet. I think I broke it getting the keys off. Sometimes I still have to hit keys more than once to get them to register. Looks like my trusty laptop gets a new keyboard tommorrow anyway.
I'm still having to convince the beertender that it wasn't really his fault. It's my own dopey self that was willing to bring a laptop into a bar in the first place. Yikes... this litigious society...
