Now, all that said. I don't know when Bear and Rose plan to come back through. I work nights Monday through Thursday so my schedule may prohibit my mooting. But, if it's at the rigth time, I will be there.
Oh yippee!!! We got a north Texas moot in the making everyone!!! YES!

I feel for ya. Often from here I end up going on ministry runs to the racetrack at Kennedale. Gotta cut right through Ft. Worth. yeesh. No good way except bite the bullet and stick to 287.
The Whole Foods Market in Arlington would get some business every time I came to the area - IF it wasn't in Arlington!!! As it is, I only force myself through there when there's something specific I need.

Kennedale. Watch yer speed through there. If'n you get caught too fast, tell em you want to talk to Officer Frantz. Oh wait mebbe not. My cousin, Justin just got arrested in Kennedale and used that one. Didn't work exactly as he planned it.

He got scared senseless, which he needed to be. And then SGT Healy called my brother to gloat. They let my cousin go with a fine. I'm thinkin no one is going to tell my aunt about this episode.

Here is a dramatic transcript/summary of what happened:
11:25 pm (phone rings at mom's house. mom answers) Hello?
Justin: Hi, Is Chris there?
Mom: (Pause, look at clock) He is asleep right now. (in a very cool voice)
Justin: (desperate and said quickly) Aunt Gerrye, It's me Justin. I just got arrested.
Mom: (laughing to herself) hold on.
Mom to chris: Chris, Justin needs to talk to you.
Chris: (Sleeping) huh? okay... (still not awake)
(Mom puts phone on Chris' head)
(Mom hovers just beyond the door to eavesdrop)
(Chris suddenly explodes with laughter)

So, you coulda gone over to him at lunch and introduced yourself!!! I was gonna! But they left before I had a chance! Also at the time I wasn't sure if the gal was his sister or wife...they were obviously close, but I couldn't devote my full attention to determining anything further without seeming rude.
Heh...so, when his sister plays here in a few weeks, should I go ask her for her brother's number? ;)
I wouldn't really, but it DID make it a whole multimedia experience - sight AND sound....

P.E. and I saw the Killdares at the Scottish festival back in May. They were very good. Of course I liked the Rogues the best. (Clandestine was vey good tooo). I'm only vaguely familiar with the other two groups you mentioned (I know more Irish groups than Scottish, except for groups like Old Blind Dogs and Wolfstone), but if the Rogues you mention are also known as "The Rogues of Scotland", I envy you - I've heard a few examples of their playing, and they are fantastic!
Well...I guess I've had my fair share of good music, too...but it doesn't keep me from envying people who have heard groups I have yet to experience!
To: msdrby
I got a cousin that lives in Kennedale too! Well, I typed her name then thought better of it. She might not appreciate that.

Rosie, are you still with us? Or is just thinking about the fantastic, gorgeous musician makign you all swoony? Heh...a little bit of that.
Well, actually, we play music on Monday nights, so I was out. Back now. Kind of a short session as some people are out of town and everyone was a little worn out from the long weekend.
To: Bear_in_RoseBear; Rose in RoseBear
Hi, Bear! Hi, Rose! Hope you're enjoying some of the same pleasant autumn weather we gots here! It's been very nice...though the dog isn't happy that I haven't turned on the heat yet. She's a wimp.
To: msdrby
Oh, dear me, that's funny!
I'm a good girl, I am, never wake up my relatives with phone calls about being arrested!
