I'm cleaning out my filing cabinet and found my father-in-law's separation papers from the Navy.
Dewey G. Loop b. Dec. 29, 1926 in Hoqium, WA enlisted Nov. 28, 1944, went into active service Dec. 2, 1944, and was discharged honorably Aug. 21, 1946.

from Sept '43 to Nov '44 he worked as an apprentice machinist at Keyport Naval Station, Keyport, WA

Dewey passed away at age 66 on May 7, 1993 - alcoholism
