Morning Mo,

We had a very special evening.

We went to P.F.Changs, She had Sweet / Sour Chicken and I had Mu-Shu Pork. Then we were off to see a movie.

SeaBiscuit. That is a must-see movie. Done up with dialog in the John-Wayne sense, "Don't say much, say it slow and say it clear". Set in the 30's of America, right after the crash, 3 people happen to get together with a pile of tragedies on each of their parts, and an unlikely, mistreated horse. It turns into a real heart-warmer.

We went home and watered all the potted plants outside and fed the cat, then dropped down to a late-night bookstore / coffee shop set by a river and the mountains here for some steamed milk. We drank it by a huge lighted fountain.

Yes, Lodwick, some of us meant it when we said, "I Do".

And since I didn't have my dagger on me at the time, I had to run away.

Don't leave home without it?...

Are you still moving on the ninth, and are the boys acclimated to the move yet?

Yes, Lodwick, some of us meant it when we said, "I Do".

And some of us decided the "to death do we part" clause doesn't mean our formerly loving spouse has the right to drive us to the very brink of suicide...

So true.

Some times I would just walk out, go to the mountains nearby, light me a fire (back when there were no burn restrictions) and sit there till I felt better.

Sometimes I had to climb to the mountain top too.

I have found a curious metric for progress.

Now that I don't feel like sharing advice anymore, it seems like progress is more tangible.

Advice - a commodity to be administered sparingly, if ever.

What a fine evening for you and your daughter - nice!

I watched the biography of SeaBuscuit on TV last week and heard some good things about this movie

I am so glad to hear you both and a wonder evening. So where ya going out to tonight?

Beautiful picture between showers.

Mo, tonight is her karate night. Sometimes she teaches, sometimes she goes to the black belt sessions to learn.

In ten days she heads down to CA. for 5 days for a seminar with Shao-Lin monks from Shang-Hai, they have to go through 10 days quarrantine since they come from China -- SARS and all.

5 people from her DoJo are going in all, one of them a 14 year old girl that my daughter has taken kindly to, the girl lost her Mother to cancer a year ago, and the day her Mother died the father was involved in a traffic accident that has left him paralyzed in a wheel chair.

My daughter is sponsering her to go down and attend, they are out shopping for a swimming suit today for her since they will be going to a beach. I've told them, no side-trip to Mexico since she is a minor, but they are planning a regular CA. Vacation.

All the monks want to do is visit Disney Land while there... So there will be some Buddha robed visitors there next week. Some of them remember Vanessa from when she went there to pass her Brown Belt test; she was singled out to sit at the head table with the Abbot for her peculiar experiences there.

Anyway ... Back to work for me.
