When I got married my knees weren't knocking. I was too clueless at that time. I done did all my learnin after!! Marriage couldn't make your knees knock, but liposuction might get the job done.

I believe it.
We had a storm pound us with rain for a few minutes, one of those nice rainstorms with mild lightning that has literal walls of rain march down the road so that you drive into the clear and then run into it again.
Poughkeepsie north of me is getting hammered at the moment.

Good Morning..

Good morning Darks.. The sun is out here right at the moment.. but by the looks of the long term weather forecast we are going to be under the gun until the end of next week.. Good grief.. I just took a half hour to pick all the rotted Geranium blossoms.. What a mildewed mess..

Sometimes young and clueless is a good thing: my younger brother married at 17, and today is their 35th wedding anniversary. I was almost 33 and thought I had a clue...
Cheers everyone.

Morning.
I hate turkeys and would have tried to eat that one too!
I was out hiking once and nature called.
So I was kinda squatting in the brush in a rather compromised position when a turkey found me in the middle of HIS territory defiling it with MY backside.
Needless to say, I got pecked and clawed.
The wife and step-daughter saw me come shooting out of the treeline back onto the trail with my pants most of the way up and a turkey in hot pursuit.
And since I didn't have my dagger on me at the time, I had to run away.
That is SO unfair!

Good morning Gran - that dang high pressure system is drowning you and baking us...supposed to hit the century mark again today, tomorrow, and the next day.
Our water usage will be something else this month.
Cheers all.

Seems like everyone is roasting, world-wide other than us.. We may hit 77 today. I pity the Europeans in this heat, they don't have air-conditioning like we do. It must be rough..

It was a territorial tom, and I was invading his 'space'...

What gets me about lots of elderly Euros, is that they insist on wearing their black wool gear and don't have the sense to go to a mall, or somewhere that they can find free air conditioning.
Also, to them 90 degrees is brutally oppressive. I would have the golf course all to myself whenever the mercury would approach 90 or higher. Wusses.

When it's 90 degrees out, I still have on jeans, turtleneck, and a shirt over that.
Only cooncession is that the sleeves are rolled up.
But that's probably due more to my abnormally low body temp and low blood pressure...
So the euroweenies don't have an excuse unless they ALL can prove low blood pressure and such.
