It was a rerun from this morning and I confess I could not watch her long enough to figure out her point. She was angry, as usual. They're talking about Blair now. His speech to Congress will be carried live at 4 pm EST.

I know. I hate that they sked everything for 4PM.

Why can't they do that at 5 or 6, when people are home and able to tune CSPAN...

"i guess so, but in order to get ME into an airplane, you'd need a large amount of liquid encouragement. "

Pre-911 I rode in an airplane exactly 10 times (just in the process of two round trips to Roatan, Honduras) and I'm not sure not I could talk myself into getting in a plane again. Between the scary trip on the itty bitty plane from mainland to the island of Roatan and the 911 stuff I just lost my nerve. But, I still hope one day to get back to Roatan so I may have to get over that fear if I ever want to get there again. My sister wants me to fly from Atlanta to Texas to visit her but I don't think I'll ever ben able to get myself on that plane. The only way I stayed sane on my first trip to Roatan on the large plane from Atlanta to Miami was because I had a pilot as a passenger next to me who talked me through the whole flight (even though he was a total stranger.) He was so sweet and I felt bad after the flight because he asked for my number after the flight was over but I was only 16 and I thought that would be a bad idea since he was atleast 30.

A good pilot can keep a nervous passenger calm. Small planes over open water can be harrowing for even the experienced flyer. I hated cattle car airliners before 911. Not a fear just didn't like the impersonal nature of airline flight. Small planes flown properly can be a very rewarding experience.

This morning, I saw a clip of Lurch, AKA known as Bob Kerry on Fox News blithering about "deception" regarding the British and American intellegence reports regarding Saddam's attempts to produce WMD's. When I saw today's word, I thought it was just perfect. Sorry I took so long to get back to y'all, but I have been with customers all afternoon.

Happy shopping!

Yeah, I got into that same thing, because the nearest commissary is over 35 miles away, and the nearest real supermarket is over 18. Last week, I finally realized how much it was costing me to buy food every couple of days, and you're right-it is a budget killer. Plus, as with you, I had this great big nearly empty freezer plugged in the utility room. So I gritted my teeth, drove on post to the commissary, showed my ID card at least 3 times, and spent nearly two hours stocking up on everything, like I used to do when we lived in town, and another 10 minutes trying to figure out how to cram it all into the hatch of my two seater car that I drove to save on gas (my other car is a 4x4 truck). I am now paying only to run a full freezer, and the daily cost of groceries is cut just about in half.

Well, it was about a 30 seater dirty passenger plane with 3 stairs from the ground into the plane. The pilot was seperated from the passengers with a dirty multi colored curtain. There was one stewardess. She spoke broken english, the pilot spoke no english. That went from mainland to the island and landed on a runway that was so short that when the plane finally screeched to a stop you were inches from the dirty and a few yards from the water. It was a bit frightening.

Sound like a piece of crap commuter. Commuter planes are 3rd rate in US. Go outside US and their downright dangerous.
