The sports columnists at the Post-Gazette are, puzzlingly, as liberal as the people who run the editorial page. Finder and the rest of these guys just can't keep their politics out of their sports coverage -- which kind of ruins for me the best Steelers coverage anywhere.

Do ESPN's demographics show a paucity of Dittoheads, Feminazis and Anti-Liberals watching?

Which of these things is not like the others? I suspect that like many of Rush's critics, the author has not listened even long enough (i.e., more than 5 minutes) to distinguish Feminazis from Dittoheads.

Limbaugh on "Countdown" is akin to Terry Bradshaw on "Face the Nation" or Deion "What Would Jesus Charge" Sanders on anything from the Discovery Channel.

Apparently this idiot didn't hear that the court found in Deion's favor and the "Jesus Discount" claim by the mechanic was unsubstantiated. Oh well, we can't let facts get in the way of a gratuitous insult.

Maybe I am wrong, but I presume many dittoheads are football fans and will tune in for that reason. Similarly, many football fans care little about politics and won't care who is on the show. I would also think that few true football fans will tune out because they don't like Rush's politics. Seems like Rush could help the ratings and shouldn't hurt them.

I always figured Rush's television show didn't last because of the fact that the networks put it on at terrible hours. Where I live it came on around one in the morning. Hardly a favorable time slot. It was also on before the Fox, MSNBC, etc., news network growth. At the time CNN was the only 24 hour news network. Limbaugh's television program would be so hot now it would be like printing money for any media outlet.
