Just came across screen that the Dixie Chicks concert at Gund arena is cancelled. Amazing isn't it that they cancelled one hour before curtain? What do you think?

It's all W.'s fault!

Sounds like a bomb scare.

"If you'll be my Dixie Chicken,
I'll be your Tennessee Lamb
And we can walk together
Down in Dixie land"
The only thing I want to hear that mentions "Dixie" and "Chick" at the same time is Little Feat singing this song.

I doubt the terrorist threat option. Why would they go after their spokespeople?

I can hear it in my head as I read the words. What a great song co-opted by a bunch of ingrates.

Something extra interesting is that on the radio today I heard this announcement: " Due to a stage configuration change, there are now seats available for tonights Dixie Chicks concert at the Gund Arena"There is nothing unusual about that at all. Most arenas save more seats around the stage then they think they'll need for all the equipment.
After the stage is set up (usually within 48 hours of the show) they release those seats for sale. The good news is, they're close to the stage. The bad news is there's a bunch of stage equipment in front of you.

Good Lord. Haven't these three femi-morons lost enough of their fan base?! To cancel one hour before the Big-Shoo is a monumental act of unprofessionalism. Someone had better be really really sick. That qualifier given, the source of this cancellation will be Natalie Maines, who is really really sick....

cheers to Terry Amen to that. When Terry was in his groove he was topped by only Hendrix and Stevie Ray. And I liked his voice better than his guitar playing.

The girls want to express their deepest apologies.Oh sure, for this they apolgize!
Put together with other things, you have to wonder if the real reason is that they didn't sell enough tickets.
