You make good points, and I understand where you are coming from. However, I think we expect too much from entertainers. I don't want their political opinions, whether or not I agree with them. They are good at making music, but lousy at politics-- yes, even the ones we love. We aren't sending a message that says, "Shut up and sing." We are sending a message that says, "Think my way!" I think that this puts us in the sheeple category more than anything else.

Your right we Americans worship our entertainers. (I wouldn't give a wooden nickel for the bunch of them.) Most Americans can name the 'Friends', but can't tell you the recent history of Afghanistan or how we beat the U.S.S.R.

That is why we must expose the idiocy and hope for even one awakening.
