She thinks the greatest invention is the thermos bottle. It keeps hot things hot and cold things cold. Gnatalie's question is how does it know? This is one of the many questions she had that though she never asked them she felt they were unanswered.

Or they can continue to be country superstars. If they choose the latter--time can heal this, if thats what the Chicks want.
All they have to do is shut up and sing.I'm not so sure about this. I think they might actually have sentenced themselves to The Great Cutouts Bin of Death this time.
I certainly hope so.

"Garth Brooks had another song with the same theme"
It was "Pappa Loved Momma"...
that one made some air time. It wasn't censored like "Thunder Rolls". "He never hit the brakes, and he was shifting gears!"

LOVE was a phenomenal band...just listened to "7 and 7 is...","My Little Red Book",and a couple of other tunes this past weekend...it stands tall still.I believe one of the recent English throw-back bands did a cover of the Love tune that had excellant Spanish guitar riffing in it...don't recall the tune just now but the remake band was The Damned...or maybe The Cult...don't bother to keep track of the copy-cats...although its interesting they would discover the music after all these years.
To: Flurry
Format? You mean vinyl or CD or tape, etc.?
We have one Love CD. The music is very progressive for 1967. Found it at the local Best Buy.

You could make an argument for Pet Sounds being the best album ever and you are definately right about it having the worst cover (what are the Beach Boys doing in a Petting Zoo anyway?).
Best album cover was on a Herb Alpert & Tijuana Brass album, although I hope to G-d that Natalie Maines & the Chicks With (Censored) don't try to replicate it.

Dissing the singer of the song that helped our POWs get through their ordeal was lower than whale poop. You've obviously seen this picture of Natalie Maines.

Since he got out of jail three years ago, Arthur Lee has performed here in New York to sell out crowds, where he has largely performed his Love material for the first time in years. Forever Changes is a great album too, btw.

Yes, it was way before its time. Arthur Lee was a genius. It's just too bad he was unstable. When he was in prison, there was a movement to get him released. If memory serves, he fired a gun up into the air, in LA. He got years of jail time for doing it.
To: Clemenza
Oh, man! Don't let my DH know Arthur is performing! He'll be up to the Big Apple in a flash.
Forever Changes is the CD we have. It's amazing.

No I am guilty of not reading all the posts in the thread initially so I didn't see the early discussions about their music. I wanted to know rock, C&W, Blues, etc. I later read back and got the answer. Thanks
