Last week Art Linkletter was given the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Daytime Emmys. I saw him accept the award and at 90 years old he's still as sharp as ever. He made me smile all the way through his speech (no transcript online yet) and at the end he said there were two groups of people he liked to interview the most, kids and old people. Kids, because they don't know what they're saying and old people because they don't care what they say.
You gotta love Art, a great American! Here's a link to an interview he did with Human Events Online.

Television Legend Remembers Nixon, Reagan -- Speaks Out for Bush Tax Cut
It's an interesting study in human nature. The thread is better than the quiz.
I know that you aren't too much of a snob to take the quiz.
Obsessive-Compulsive disorder.
..
You're so lucky! Meeting Mr. Linkletter must of been a real treat.
He is a great American!
I got 65%. It was the attendant in the restrooms that got me...that and pronouncing foreign words correctly.
Good one! Thanks for the link, I'll check it out.
And here we go again! These boneheads think this will work one more time.
JACKSON, Miss. - Former President Bill Clinton accused President Bush of spending more time fighting the war on terrorism than on domestic issues during a commencement speech at Tougaloo College.
"I supported the president when he asked for authority to stand up against weapons of mass destruction in Iraq (news - web sites), but we can't be forever strong abroad if we don't keep getting better at home," Clinton said Sunday to a crowd of about 8,000.
Clinton also criticized Bush's position on affirmative action and tax cuts just two days after the President formally kicked off his re-election campaign. full story

Which just proves being a snob is no indication of class.
They must point out that they are superior to all others since it's not readily apparent from their posts or personalities.
That would explain why they spend all day, everyday on the computer.
During his speech, Clinton criticized President George W. Bush's tax-cut plan. On Monday, Republican gubernatorial candidate Haley Barbour responded to Clinton's comment.
"Well, I am not going to critize President Clinton," Barbour said. "We're always glad when a former president gets here. Frankly, I'll be tickled when he comes back to campaign for Gov. Musgrove."
Barbour was speaking across the state Monday to promote his work force training reforms. source.
Never mind turning a sow's ear into a silk purse. The Post's Robin Givhan reports Laura Bush has ordered a crystal-encrusted, Faberge egg-inspired Judith Leiber evening bag (retail price: $4,175) as a gift for Russian first lady Ludmila Putin when the two meet this month during St. Petersburg's 300th-anniversary celebration. Leiber spokeswoman Lisa Wells said the minaudieres, as these little purses are called, typically come with a doll-size mirror and comb, which barely leaves room for a cell phone and lipstick. Wells said the egg-shaped purse, which Mrs. Bush chose instead of a tulip or a butterfly, is one of the company's archival styles developed before Leiber retired in 1998.
As for that humongous price tag, paid out of the State Department's protocol funds, we hear that Leiber gives "friends of the house" a 25 percent discount, while special friends like the first lady get a price cut of about 40 percent. WashPost
