Cans of baked beans would be awfully heavy to mail. Maybe vacuum-sealed packages of lunch meats, pepperoni, etc. (the kind that have expiration dates months in the future) would be an alternate way of meeting our boys' need for delicious and wholesome pork products, that is, assuming they are permitted to have them in those Muslim countries)!

I have been wracking my brain all day trying to figure out how to get food to our troops without the weight. I think that vacuum sealed meats would spoil, but we could send vienna sausages and died italian salami.

I am planning on a big troop buying spree this weekend, and other than Q tips and Peeps, I will try to find lightweight foods that they will want. How about Cheetos and Cheesepopcorn?
