The paragraph at the top is incorrect. The article later in the thread makes it clear that he is 9 years OLDER than her, and has an established career as an actor.

I hope she learns her lesson, comes around, and makes the proper sort of remarks FROM THE STAGE AND HEARTFELT. In part, that's cuz she comes from Lubbock, a fine town in West Texas, that's produced a good singer or two -- Mac Davis and Buddy Holly.

There's a statue in Lubbock to Buddy Holly, one of only two statues to local residents. Folks around there take their heros seriously -- if'n they lack 'em.
