This is the email I sent:
Dear Sir,
Each day I get more and more disgusted by pampered American celebrities uttering blatant treason and sedition. Now we get to hear from the Dixie Chicks. While not on the same level as Jane Fonda, they're coming pretty close by making that statement overseas. They will soon find out that their opinions do not represent their domestic fan base.
Sincerely,

It's easy for a spoiled American to disgrace this great Republic on foreign soil where nearby over 50 years earlier French tanks with 21 reverse speeds surrendered with disgrace to a Saddam-like tyrant. In Europe you can disgrace America and hide behind a guitar without playing a tune, in America you can disgrace America, but cannot hide behind that wornout bugle without it playing taps.

Sent mine -
I am embarrassed that the Dixie Chicks are from Texas.
I am embarrassed that I was proud of their rise to fame.
I am embarrassed that they will be embarrassing us all over the world with their ignorance.

Done, in a nice way.
I called them un-ladylike and classless.
I said that the Chicks implied to Europe that the President of the United States was out to kill innocents without regard.
And that there was NO evidence of that in Afganastan.
I believe they have fallen victim to peer pressure, and the need to be "hip".

Thanks, sent mine. Felt good to get that off my chest.

Only thing I ever liked about the Dixie Chicks was Natalie Maines' husband, Adrian Pasder.
I'm thinking that their publicist is already saying "You'd better HOPE this war starts today......then at least the media will forget this story." Calls to radio station in her own home town are 99% anti-Natalie this morning.
