WHO'LL STOP THE GRAY?
Tune: "Who'll Stop the Rain?"
Long as I remember,
I've looked thirty-three.
I hear the waitress sayin',
"Must see some ID."
Who can guess my age is
Fifty years today?
And I wonder,
Still I wonder:
Who'll spot the gray?
Won't do Grecian Form'la,
And I don't want Just For Men.
I can say the white hairs
Are blond ones just mixed in.
Still the gray keeps comin',
More and more each day,
And I wonder,
Still I wonder:
Who'll stop the gray?
Tried to trim the white ones
Out of my goatee,
But if I shave it all off,
I'll look seventeen!
Still the gray keeps comin'--
Make it go away!
And I wonder,
Still I wonder:
Who'll stop the gray?
