Now who can I watch on TV that will rile me up as much as Phil and his liberal buddies?

Donahue's show lasted a little longer than I expected it would. I never had more fun deliberately trying to miss a show.

I told this story before on a few other threads, but when I was a lad of about nine, I looked forward to watching afternoon cartoons such as He-Man and Transformers as well as GI Joe and Thundercats after school. Silverhawks was another of my favorites. One day my then teenage cousin(this was circa 1986) caught my brother and I watching one of those shows and she said, "You aren't wathcing that s**t while I'm here, let's watch something educational." So you I sat through an hour of watching this white haired, four-eyed doofus give this atheist dad a sympathetic ear and praise him for encouraging his kids to sit still during the Pledge of Allegience. The guest who had the opposing view was called a bigot by the host and worst by the audience. From that time on, I knew that I will never, ever watch Phil Donahue.
