In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of word for the day. Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the word of the day; in a sentence. The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day. The Review threads are linked for your edification. ;-) Practice makes perfect.....post on....
chimerical\ky-MER-ih-kuhl; -MIR-; kih-\, adjective:
1. Merely imaginary; produced by or as if by a wildly fanciful imagination; fantastic; improbable or unrealistic.
2. Given to or indulging in unrealistic fantasies or fantastic schemes.
Her name is Dulcinea; her country El Toboso, a village in La Mancha; her degree at least that of Princess, for she is my Queen and mistress; her beauty superhuman, for in her are realized all the impossible and chimerical attributes of beauty which poets give to their ladies. --Miguel De Cervantes, Don Quixote. Etymology: Chimerical is ultimately derived from Greek khimaira, "she-goat" or "chimera," which in Greek mythology was a monster having the head of a lion, the body of a goat, and the tail of a dragon.

Joke time.
This woman goes into a dentist's office, after he is through examining her he says "I am sorry to tell you this, but I am going to have to drill that tooth."
The woman then says "Ooooohhhh, I'd rather have a baby!"
To which the dentist replies "Make up your mind, I have to adjust the chair."

It is, to be sure, a thing best done is done by serving wenched' excess'es.....
We must put the right balls in the side pocket, and left no man be put assunder.
And hang together separately, lest we all hang a part altogether.
To: Robert A. Cook, PE; hobbes1; xsmommy
you can hang your parts wherever you desire, but any hanging parts of mine are sure to be discrete.
let no nut be unwenched before it's time.

Bwahaha... Hey bro, I'm gettin' old, I scored 25 out of 21 on this checklist, by-cracky...
GROWING OLD?
1. You're sitting on a park bench, and a Boy Scout comes up and helps you cross your legs.
2. You keep repeating yourself.
3. You light the candles on your birthday cake, and a group of campers form a circle and start singing "Kumbaya" with guitar accompaniment.
4. Your new easy chair has more options than your car.
5. When you do the "Hokey Pokey" you put your left hip out... and it stays out.
6. One of the throw pillows on your bed is a hot water bottle.
7. Conversations with people your own age often turn into "dueling ailments."
8. You keep repeating yourself.
9. You discover the words, "whippersnapper," "scalawag," and "by-cracky" creeping into your vocabulary.
10. You run out of breath walking DOWN a flight of stairs.
11. You keep repeating yourself.
12. You come to the conclusion that your worst enemy is gravity.
13. You start beating everyone else at trivia games.
14. You frequently find yourself telling people what a loaf of bread USED to cost.
15. You refer to your $2500 stereo system as "THE HI-FI."
16. You make it a point to attend all the RV shows that come to town.
17. You realize that a stamp today costs more than a movie did when you were growing up. (Oh my ... THAT'S TRUE!!!)
18. Your childhood toys are now in a museum.
19. The clothes you've put away until they come back in style...came back in style. (But don't fit now!)
20. All of your favorite movies are now revised in color & most of the stars are dead.
21. You keep repeating yourself.
Did I tell ya I scored 25 out of 21 on this checklist, by-cracky?

17. You realize that a stamp today costs more than a movie did when you were growing up. (Oh my ... THAT'S TRUE!!!)
Man, that is true. I remember when it used to cost 10 and 15 cents for a movie on base. That was for a matinee. Regular price was 25 cents, 'by cracky' ...
...and stamps cost 2 or 3 cents I think.

i heard on Seanny's radio show, that he is going to have the F&F segment with brian kilmeade and janeane garafolo on H&C tonight. Brian was on seanny's radio show and said the exchange was extremely heated and that it went on through the break and beyond. Good for him, i am definitely warming to brian.

Kilmeade is tough. He's not as abrasive as O'Reilly but he asks tough questions. Lauren Green has been subbing for ED the last two days and has been very sharp. Better than Juliet Huddy on the weekends.

How're you holdin' out down there in the Big Chill, bro? I heard the temps are down to the teens and the roads, they are a-icin'...
