BB King was just asked about political comments during the war and he said "I think that there are going to be alot of things said tonight that I don't agree with."
Way to go B.B!

Damn! Rage is always good for a laugh.
However, Michael Kamen rocks, so this isn't a complete waste. I can't listen to his themes from "From the Earth to the Moon" or "Band of Brothers" without getting a bit misty. :)

Looked like three words. They panned away pretty fast.

The singer from Coldplay has something written on his hand. And CBS cameras are cleverly avoiding showing it!

I love this! when the bigwigs at viaCON told them to pipe down, they did so obediently. Viacom is probably worried that album sales would plummet due to the anti-americanism on display. i think that concern shows that bush's position enjoys huge popular support. IMHO, if you can be quieted like this in the name of profits, you were also anti-war in the name of profits. everything these no-talent hacks do is to further their careers. so now it's official, they are all frauds. no big news there.

Kid Rock. I saw him on something quite a few months ago. He played for the troops. Did you see it?I saw something he did on MTV a few months ago for the troops in Afghanistan. Not only did he play for the troops, but he actually hung around with one 19-year-old serviceman all day. Played guitar with him, taught him some new chords, and just seemed to be a really nice guy who was very appreciative of our troops over there. The nineteen-year-old was blown away. It was really special for him.
When he came on stage before the troops, he yelled, "I don't know where Osama Bin Laden is tonight, but I can tell you one thing - where ever he is, he's f#*king scared!"
They loved it.

It doesn't look like any of the radical leftists have made it to the stage yet. I think the threat of a potential consumer boycott against CBS, Viacom (CBS' parent company), the music industry, and the Grammy Award advertisers is good reason why the political speeches haven't appeared yet. :) This is the USA, not in Europe where anti-Americanism is a bit more tolerated. Besides, it would reflect really badly on the music industry if the anti-American sentiments ends up being rediculed on Rush Limbaugh's radio show, Sean Hannity's radio show, and Bill O'Reilly's radio show and TV show.

My best friend in high school dated a girl whose father made guitars. We were in the guitar shop behind the house when a guy just kinda walked up. The owner just called him Roy and pulled out a guitar that he'd made for him. "Roy tried the guitar, was happy with it, paid the owner, and left. "Roy" was Roy Orbison. I didn't realize it until after he'd left.

Tony Bennett, the AlGore/BillClinton/Liberal clown of the Rat Pack Generation. If Frank Sinatra were still alive, he'd have Tony's @ss kicked for endorsing the liberal 'rats.

This song... "open up yer eyes" is repetetive and somewhat boring... Too much drama for so little content, Its like he is going to knock over that pieanee there...
A Jerry Lee Lewis impression... waiting for him to stomp it with his feet.
It wasnt all that...
I think the NY Philharmonic blew him away with their West Side Story rendition.
