That is pathetic. I have no doubt in my mind that these terrorists know how soft our sentences can be in the US also. I believe the have done research on this for years.

Over the past few years so many excuses for why a person murdered someone.....too much pressure, etc. Just last week...an act of passion was offered to describe why Clara ran over her cheating husband.

The liberals have an excuse for all murderers unless it is a white, gun carrying, Christian, married, conservative male driving a SUV.

Meanwhile, Reuters reports that a court in Hamburg, Germany, has convicted Sept. 11 co-conspirator Mounir El Motassadeq of 3,066 counts of accessory to murder. The Germans threw the book at him--only it was a slender paperback. Motassadeq, 28, got the maximum sentence of 15 years--less than two days per victim. Even if he serves out his term, he'll be a free man at 43. His victims will still be dead. We suppose the Germans have to treat accessory to murder as a minor crime, or else the whole country would have gone to prison in 1945.
