Now wait just a dag gone minute. . .
"Say what you want to she is at a disadvantage in communication, which is a critical part of the show."
No kidding. Here's the thing; she said she wanted to be on Survivor bec she wanted to show that people like her are just like other people (or something to that effect), but then she started complaining from the get-go that people weren't giving her special consideration. Well, you can't have it both ways. And before you get any ideas, I'll tell you flat out that I think the women were mean to her and I would have been much more considerate, but you won't win my respect by playing it both ways.
"Look how opinionated you are about deaf people being bigots."
That's way out of line. I said that "there are some real bigots out there." I did NOT even imply that deaf people are all, or even mostly, bigots.
You owe me an apology, dude (or dudette).

"That may be, but she really insulted me during her letter thing last night. The implication being that "hearing" people are not to be trusted -- deaf people can only trust deaf people." I don't see the same implication you do. It is a perception and attitude coming from how you see it. I have no intention of offending you. Look honestly at what you wrote. It is quite opinionated, isn't it? How did she insult you? You agree she is in a trying circumstance. No point in taking offense from her is there?
We have a difference of opinion. Let's enjoy the show or hate it or ignore it; it is a choice. To take any of it personally doesn't make sense.
I'm sorry you chose to be offended by my response to your post #487.
