This is not a joke. Has anyone ever tried it? Yes. I usually start with step 6. I've got one of those pet pillers but it still takes a few tries to get it down.

I usually have to wrap them in a towel. This disables them from being able to claw your eyes out! Even then the little suckers seem to be very tricky about pretending to swallow them and spitting them out later. I finally learned to crush the pill into liquid form with water and give it to them via the liquid thing (not sure what it's called). What an adventure.
Giving a cat a bath is definitely worse!
