Wow - 400 miles...off to Google around Cape Coral since I can't get out of the house.
To have to change from OceanPacific to NorthFace gear in twenty-four hours is just not right.

Cape Coral is almost entirely zoned for single family housing. There are very few multiple family units or condos and no government subsidized housing projects. With over 400 miles of navigable canals, this city is one of the largest waterfront communities in the country.
Cape Coral is the second largest city by land mass in the state of Florida. With over 400 miles of navigable canals, many with access to the Gulf of Mexico, it is truly a water wonderland. The city has more than tripled in population just during the past 10 years.
This is sounding better and better - no tenants.

Loddie,
You know what sounds fun? This outfit wayyyyyyy in the outback of Alaska makes these backpackable rafts (i.e. 5 lbs gets you a reliable water transport) and you go hiking until you get to a stream / pond / lake / river and then you break out the raft, blow it up, and ford or explore on the water.
Alpacka Raft Everything else is just a pool toy.
