LET'S ROLL!!!
In the words of one of my favorite characters, "Bring 'em on. Bring 'em on."
ISB I have a Bird of Paradise blooming next to my front walk. Do you have any advice on how to get it to bloom more often?
I think that is a nice try, but anything you say in public WILL be told. Closed doors or open doors, the UN is a sieve. The only way to preserve intelligence sources is to keep your mouth shut. UN approval is not worth the cost of compromising our intelligence.
AMERICAS WAR ON TERROR Day 513
The news as reported in The Washington Times:
[Note All links go to The Washington Times website.]
1. Hans Blix informed the Iraqis that war is moving closer, unless they take concrete steps to comply fully with UN mandates.
[Saddam set your watch. Its 11:55 PM.]
War 'moving closer,' Blix warns Iraq
2. Debris from Columbia is now being sought in Arizona and California.
[This would be an important find as it would be very near the beginning of events that caused the demise of the shuttle.]
Shuttle debris sought farther west
3. President Bush paid tribute to the crew of Columbia yesterday at a memorial service.
[It is so very wonderful to have this fine man as President.]
Bush recalls 'great purpose' of shuttle crew
4. The Administration again signaled it is willing to talk, not negotiate, but talk with North Korea.
[Meanwhile, among members of the Criminal Party, there seems to be a softening on the subject of a non-aggression treaty with North Korea. Never mind that would require us to remove troops from South Korea and likely pave the way for an attack by the North.]
U.S. promises to hold talks with N. Korea
5. OMB Director Mitch Daniels challenged the Criminal Party to come up with a budget of their own, rather than simply lambaste the Administrations proposal.
[Right on!]
Democrats hit for lack of own plan on budget
6. Secretary of Education Paige called the Presidents court filing on the University of Michigan affirmative action case correct.
[Yes, indeed, it is.]
Paige calls Bush's brief in race case 'correct'
7. Two of three Washington, DC, Council members who voted against providing the City Council with parking exemptions are among the biggest beneficiaries of being able to void parking tickets.
[Yep, figures.]
Benefit of parking perk hard to gauge
We shall not rest until we have cut a swath 60-miles wide through the entire left - taking all that is before us with us as we go. We shall leave nothing to the enemy that may be of value to him. We shall show him that he may count on nothing and will be able to keep nothing, not his spirit, not his soul, not that upon which he shall feed. We shall not cease until the moment we have rent through their entire land and have arrived at the sea, with our glorious victory upon us.
