At the request of members, I am restarting those "Tales from the Dark UnderBelly Of the Beast"-- the stories and issues that the press and media either ignore, won't even talk about, or will mention once and forevermore claim "it's old news..."
Naturally, some will be stories which interest me, or things I think we all need to be aware of.
I am experimenting with a minor change in presentation- when I can, I will cut to
-GoogleNewsBeta--
with a keyword or two and see what kind of links to "mainstream" stories I can find in contrast to what we see here and on other sites.
May I remind you of a couple of points to bear in mind?
Each link usually has many other links within- follow them all to get "the rest of the story."
Don't forget the "open multiple browsers" trick with control-n -- this allows you to hold your place with one, and use the others to follow links, run searches, etc.

trying to close the debate, since they can't win it. They want victory declared and the argument to move from whether global warming is occurring and whether man has a role in it to discussion of

Palestinians stepping up anti-fence campaign -- Muslims have no claim on Jerusalem whatsoever. Jerusalem is central to both Judiasm and Christianity. But it is not mentioned even ONCE in the Koran. Islam has a presence there due only to military conquest. The Al Asqa Mosque therefore is as out of place on the Temple Mount as were Soviet tanks in Prague.Islam has no claim to our holy ground. It is well past time to evict these murderous interlopers.
Al Qaeda opens up shop in Somalia -- As we push AQ out of the Middle East, they need someplace to land. What better place than impoverished African countries? Radical Islam can buy a lot of these places, and set up shop with no resistance at all.
Media Expect Accountability Only of Others -- We'll get the last laugh when the circulation figures come out (and those that have been faking them to cover the massive drop in the MSM audience get sent to jail).
Is it Islamic "extremism" -- or is it Islam itself? --
Must an entire American city lie in smoking ruins, or its population lay dying in the streets from some plague, before we get serious?At this point I'm not even sure that that would be enough to call the Muslims out for the Nazis they are.

Islam is easily seen--the mosques, the Saudi money that builds them and the Saudi imams that preach in them.
Eliminate the later, and you might hold in check the former.
Sounds to me like he's practically begging for someone to do just that.

Come clean(liberal Sun's re-write of Demos Wilson/Plame Scandle) -- The media obsessed with the fraud story of GW Bush being AWOL from the Guard. Then they went gaa gaa over Abu Ghraib.
They spent valuable credibility trying to prove that Clinton’s contracting with Halliburton was Bush’s fault and demanded Rumsfeld be fired for a fake story printed about Gitmo.
They all got the vapors when Dan Rather contrived his phoney story and backed it up with fake documents.
Now they are running in circles because they think they can make a non story into a real story even there was no leak and the person in the question of damage was not a covert operative. Yet, the media marches blindly on dragging fools like Dick Durbin and John Kerry with them.
What they are missing is that a little truthful investigation would go a long, long way. Much (but not all) of the nation is growing tired of the fabricated journalism and the whores crying wolf. People are coming to realize that when the media speaks in unison, it is usually to create smoke to hide something that doesn’t fit their agenda.

The London bombings and "Resistance against what?" -- Yesterday, the Arab T.V. network “Al Arabiya”, made a poll in one of its regular programs asking the question: “If you know of a terrorist, would you inform the authorities about him?”, and you know, the final results were about half and half. Nearly half of the voters said they would not. That means they sympathized with the terrorists.

OPEN LETTER TO FEDERALLY LICENSED FIREARMS IMPORTERS (ATF Screws Us Again) -- I hope I live long enough to see a politician with the stones to seek the repeal of NFA, GCA, and every other stupid "crime-fighting" law that does nothing to stop crime.
