It seems to be a bit hypocritical for them to argue the tax cuts would only help the "rich". Aren't they part of the rich?

Mostly they already have the money, so tax rates don't affect them much. It's those BECOMING rich that are affected.

Good heaven's, those of us just working and trying to save for retirement, college funds, trustfunds, mortgages, food, clothes, etc,etc,etc. just don't count! GRRRRRR as Dog would say.

The word gets out who the best accountant is, the one who can hide more than others. No way do they pay taxes.

Amen. The present tax code inhibits wealth creation and promotes wealth preservation. It's back-, er, -wards.
