Pretty is in the eyes of the beholder. Protecting the three of you goes way farther than a beautiful coat.

Panda has a wonderfully thick and beautiful long, black coat(She's a Shih Tzu). But Brandi didn't (she was also a Shih Tzu) and I love(d) them both like children. They were and are truly loving members of the family.

Any dog who shows protective instincts for his family is beaautiful to me.

i wonder how illstillbe's "pups" are? I miss those stories!

Our oldest daughter had a Shih Tzu. She named her "Precious". She was so cute. Black and white. She had an outstanding personality, but was petrified of the cats.

OH MY!!! You just reminded me of something I saw on my home from Home Depot yesterday...a car pulls into the lot, a rather small one at that (the car I mean)...it has one of those sun roofs...and guess what is sticking out of the sunroof???

THE BIGGEST St. Bernard I had ever laid eyes on...just pokin his head out...catching the breeze.
