HI KIM.

There is no answer to that question.

It is not what they saw, it is what they chose to accept as important.

What they chose to ignore because it was too technical and boring.

What they believed based on what was seen, what was heard, what influences they had from neighbors, the media,the Danielle video, the 3-ring circus in court.

Everyone here, if on the jury, might have seen the same things, but came away with different opinions.

In the jury, they had to come to agreement, and some believed the evidence gave necessary proof, while others likely caved in to pressure from other jurors, or even spouses, family, and friends.

You could possibly be right..but the jury still supports the van dams.. they showed up for the sentencing hearing..they didn't show up feeling regret. You should read the transcripts from when the van dams, prosecutors and jury foreman were on johnwalsh.tv and read to the comments from the jury foreman. It was quite good. He completely explained the jury's position.
