In order that we might all raise the level of discourse and expand our language abilities, here is the daily post of word for the day. Rules: Everyone must leave a post using the word of the day; in a sentence. The sentence must, in some way, relate to the news of the day. The Review threads are linked for your edification. ;-) Practice makes perfect.....post on....
Final Exam
As promised, today we will be having the final exam of the semester. Below I have linked 40 past WFTDs. The exam is simple. You must use 5 of the words, in however many sentences you like, that somehow relate to the news. The minimum is 5, and for using the minimum, you will get an average grade of a C. Use more, your grade goes up. Use less, it goes down. Fail to turn in your exam, and I will submit your name to Principal Rob for a counseling session.

You mean as in "peace and love"?
I'll settle for the love part, but only if you ask VERY prettily.

Well, you can always rename it. I don't believe you'd even have to go to court and file a writ of habeus corpus or whatever to do it!

As a gal I used to work with said when we were discussing whether you should wash your carrots (she didn't think it was necessary): "Aw, c'mon, Argh, you've had worse things than that in your mouth before!"
(Little did she know...)

Womanly.
Let me get this straight. You wear short skirts, and tight tops so the migrants at DD get their daily dose of flesh, but somehow, picking up a magazine, in the grocery checkout line is somehow, Embarassing?!?!?!?!?!?

that was extremely snotty of you to point out, vast...was that by any chance a neener neener you were directing my way? Snotty!? You know I would never taunt you. I was simply unable to join the class until late because I stayed up all night with our youth at a lock-in at Gameworks on Sunday night from midnight to 7:00 am Monday morning. As a result, I had not read thru all the posts and didn't see your homework or your grade. Naturally, I was curious as to what the pet of the class had made on this assignment.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to leave and meet the rest of my foursome. We have a 9:00 tee time this morning. Have a lovely day.
Go Horned Frogs! Beat CSU!
