ALL - Based on the weather forecast for tomorrow along my intended route, taking into account that extreme winter weather will not be reached until we are near the Rockland/Orange county line in NY, my family and I have decided that the trip to my folks is a "go."

I ask for prayers for personal skill and the Lord's favor to arrive safe at my destination.

I've just been reading that article about the Russian city that put the face of Jesus on their flag. I spent almost two months in a city in Ukraine in 1999 and discovered that their city symbol was a Jewish star of David over a crescent moon. I was told that it was predominantly a Jewish city and their symbol represented Judaism conquering Islam. There are very few Jews there now and probably no Muslims, but I didn't hear any Christians complaining about the symbols.
