AMERICA - The Right Way!! (Day 698) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | December 19, 2002 | All of Us

Posted on 12/19/2002 4:23:04 AM PST by Chairman_December_19th_Society

We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!

Good morning!! Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!

December 19, 1998 - A GREAT DAY TO HAVE BEEN A REPUBLICAN!!

On that day, the GOP House ensured that Wilhelm von der Schlickmeister Blythe Klintoon would have his proper place in history by making him the first elected President ever to have been impeached and, collaterally, causing Vice Perpetrator Algore to remark that Klintoon would be remembered as "one of our greatest Presidents."

The Pravda is reporting the Administration has set an informal target of the last week in January to decide on whether to invade Iraq. The White House believes by then it will have gathered enough evidence on Iraqi malfeasence in the WMD arena to convince the UN Security Council Iraq must be dealt with once and for all.

In that regard, US intelligence has stated the Iraqi regime has created a larger and more powerful biological warfare capability, has weaponized their agents to such a degree they are highly aerosoled, and have put their labs in vans, so they will not be found by UN weapons inspectors.

And UOx42 has weighed in on Senator Lott:

"How do they think they got a majority in the South anyway?" Clinton told CNN outside a business luncheon he was attending. "I think what they are really upset about is that he made public their strategy."

He added: "They try to suppress black voting, they ran on the Confederate flag in Georgia and South Carolina, and from top to bottom the Republicans supported it." [Sourced to CNN]

Maybe the GOP should remind the former cretin of the White House there are many witnesses to him using the "N" word frequently while he was governor of Arkansas: Why Clinton Is MIA on the Lott Race Flap.

Meanwhile, Delighted Democrats Sharpen Anti-white Agenda

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

thanks I found it... after reading more than I wanted.. LOL

I still don't see any reference to one election in the rules cited nor any reference to unanimous consent for a new vote..... CT keeps alluding to Lott having rewrote some of the rules so maybe he did and there aren't in the version linked above....

They meet early as stated in several notes here to select these leaders prior to the swearing in in Jan. I've looked up some of the others and they've occurred in Nov. or Dec. for different Congresses.....

I'm still confused by Santorum's statements....

Sen. Rick Santorum, the chairman of the Senate Republican Conference, said yesterday he "fully expects" Mr. Lott to remain majority leader because the Mississippian, and every other Republican senator, would have to approve of any new leadership votes.
"I'm confident that Senator Lott will be our leader," said Mr. Santorum in a conference call with reporters yesterday. "I have very little doubt about that right now."
Mr. Santorum called for a closed-door conference of Senate Republicans on Monday after it was clear that five senators wished to meet Jan. 6 to discuss how to handle the fallout over remarks Mr. Lott made in a tribute at Sen. Strom Thurmond's 100th birthday party.
But "the only way I am certain a new election could be called for is by unanimous consent," Mr. Santorum said. Such a scenario has virtually no chance of occurring because Mr. Lott would have to be among those agreeing to open his job to rivals.
"We have been checking all the [Senate Republican] rules," Mr. Santorum said. "There are no rules for a new election, so we are researching what other avenue would be available should such a request take place."

Santorum quotes

Did you hear we had snow last night in Utah? It was lovely, I sat by my living room window with the lights off, and watched it snow, all the while sipping cocoa. The only problem is that we only got about 2 inches where I live.

What is a liberal?

LIBERALS believe everyone is equal, but they are the first ones to fall to their knees in front of celebrities.

LIBERALS think the Million Man March referred to Heidi Fleiss' busiest month.

LIBERALS believe hunger in Third World countries could be eliminated by having every Care package include a lovely bridge mix.

LIBERALS see themselves as peacemakers. They still believe the gunfight at the OK Corral could have been settled over a cocktail. (Boot Hill is full of liberals who were in the act of explaining, while the other guy was in the act of drawing.)

LIBERALS argue that Judas Iscariot deserves a second chance.

LIBERALS believe a heart attack is Nature's way of telling you someone else wants to use the tennis court.

LIBERALS can't tell the difference between Clinton's credo and Clinton's libido - and neither can Clinton.

LIBERALS accept the explanation that the late Ron Brown was not shot in the head, but died of a 45-caliber migraine.

LIBERALS shun Wall Street, preferring to get their insider information from proctologists.

LIBERALS believe Microsoft is suppressing a new software program that will upgrade puberty.

LIBERALS are sentimental and have difficulty saying goodbye, and even some shorter words.

LIBERALS are convinced Chelsea's hair is a result of Bill and Hillary Clinton's attempt to catch lightning in bed.

LIBERALS think Sociology is a religion.

LIBERALS insist Monica Lewinsky was only demonstrating mouth-to-lap resuscitation.

LIBERALS claim to love everybody but duck each other at cocktail parties.

LIBERALS remember things that never happened. The more things that happen when they are not there, the more vividly they remember them

LIBERALS keep talking until they think of something to say.

LIBERALS think global warming is what Bill Clinton did to keep Monica Lewinsky's globes warm.

LIBERALS believe just because something doesn't exist doesn't mean the government shouldn't fund a program to fix it.

LIBERALS believe monogamy is an unproven theory.

LIBERALS believe Hillary Clinton was put on Earth to correct God's mistakes - and so does Hillary.

. LIBERALS need Richard Simmons to walk them home through tough neighborhoods.

LIBERALS believe an bi-sexual has the right to form a double line at the welfare office.

LIBERALS look to the UN for clarification.

LIBERALS want to get involved, but can't tell the difference between a cause, an impulse, and a rash.

LIBERALS think ethnicity forgives criminality.

LIBERALS believe they are all good Samaritans, and that Barbra Streisand is always sitting near a telephone in case someone needs her help changing a flat tire.

LIBERALS believe conservatives are mean-spirited and didn't Love Lucy.

LIBERALS can hardly wait to hear what they're going to say next.

LIBERALS are quick to tell you where God went wrong.

LIBERALS keep trying to convince us Yasser Arafat is not a bad looking guy. (Conservatives won't take a crack at it.)

LIBERALS keep trying to "manage" each other, like people in bad marriages.

LIBERALS believe being ill-mannered is good politics.

LIBERALS believe in the saying, "Happiness is never getting caught."

LIBERALS believe in free love, as long as the Federal government picks up the tab for it.

LIBERALS believe every man has a right to believe in his own religion, as long as he doesn't practice it.

LIBERALS believe the part of the brain that controls thought is located directly behind the zipper.

LIBERALS believe bisexuals were put on Earth to disprove the adage, "You can't have it both ways."

LIBERALS believe in same-sex marriage, but get impatient waiting for the right "Mr. Same-Sex" to come along.

LIBERALS believe after people die they go to San Francisco.

Sen. Kerry, Presidential hopeful from Massachusetts for the Criminal Party, made the following remark on the Imus show:

"The Iraqi army is in such bad shape, even the Italians could kick their butts."

Sen. Kerry's spokesman, when asked if the Senator would resign over these comments, replied by saying certainly not.

Does this mean what was announced as Lott's election as Majority Leader by the Republican Conference has not, in fact, actually occurred, and what we had was only an agreement by the Conference this would be so in January?

See my post #96 which explains one of the ways to worm around the rules.

If, in fact, the Conference suspended the rules in order to elect Lott Majority Leader earlier than specified in the Rules, he is in like sin.

I have a book of "Mason's Rules", which I'm assuming take precidence if a specific situation is not addressed. I'll look to see the proper procedures for overthrowing a Majority Leader. Back in a Bit.
