That reminds me. I found the neatest book for my mother yesterday. The title is Lost Indianapolis and it is full of pictures of old buildings and sites that have been torn down, including the amusement park that used to be a yearly treat when I was a kid.

What I DIDN'T know until I read the book was that the amusement park had a "whites only" policy up until the mid-60's!!!!!!!

This is Indianapolis, far north of the Mason-Dixon line! Boy, you can learn something every day, even in your own back yard!

I NEED to get Christmas Shopping/cleaning/baking, but what ever this crud is that I have knocked me for a loop yesterday.

I feel pretty rested and good so far to day.

I think The Coopster and I are going to see it tonight. Mrs. Coopster doesn't have mucuh interest, and Mr. Coopster is NOT the person to see it with. I have the video from the first movie (which The Coopster and I went to see by ourselves) and when I watched it with Mr. Marple I spent almost the entire time EXPLAINING things to him, because he hadn't read the books. LOL!

So, The Coopster and I are thinking we will go this evening, if he can get his schedule arranged.
