Merry Christmas, all!

I had to brave the insanity to go to the grocery store for a perscription for my dad. Actually if anyone has some spare prayers.... he's had shingles for the past two weeks and is now completely deaf in one ear. The damage may be permanent but we don't know yet.

Other than that we're all ready for Christmas. Still no snow. I stayed up a little too late last night reading Otherland, and with all the hecticness, I've had trouble getting on today. We are having an early dinner and then watching "A Christmas Story" before leaving for Christmas Eve service, so I'll be around for a little while and then gone.

Eeek. Sorry about your Dad's shingles... My Dad went through that last year! - Took a long time to recover.

Merry Christmas to you Jen! - I am wrapping up presents and wondering if the little snow we are getting is going to stick or not. If not too bad, I am going to go up to the beach house for a visit today! Our main Christmas is tommorrow.
