AMERICA - The Right Way!! (Day 696) [Remember the Trade Center!!]
Various News Sources and FReepers | December 17, 2002 | All of Us

Posted on 12/17/2002 4:08:27 AM PST by Chairman_December_19th_Society

We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!

Good morning!! Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!

Secretary Powell announced, according to the London Sun, there are problems with the Iraqi arms declaration. The Sun also reports there are significant (numbers are given in the article - go to Drudge for the link - but will not be repeated here) movements of US and British forces toward the Persian Gulf area.

The United States announced it will field a missile interceptor base by 2004. The base will likely be located in Alaska.

The Supreme Court has asked the Solicitor General for the Administrations position in a key abortion case. The case centers on whether a law designed to protect abortion clinics can be used to keep people from posting information on the Internet about the doctors who carry out the procedure.

Canadian intelligence has surmized that country is being used by Al Qa'eda as a staging ground.

And an ABC "News"/Washington Pravda poll found that one-third of all Republicans and three-fourths of the people belonging to the Criminal Party thought Lott should step down as Majority Leader. Lott's fate in that regard will be decided by Republicans on January 6, 2003.

For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.

Sounds to me like you have touched a chord in the guy if he is staying in touch with you now. Good luck and God bless your efforts!

Interesting. I wonder how much of the problem is because of misinformation spread through beauty and barber shops, etc.

I always spend a lot of time explaining things to my beautician, who comes from a highly democrat town south of here. I don't know how much good it does, but maybe the large tip I leave helps. LOL!

Ok.

Lott effed up.
Bush made him eat it.
Lott can choose whether or not to swallow.

That help?

I did touch a chord. He didn't know that there was a black guy running in 2000's repub primary. I did. And I voted for him. Alan Keyes.

He assumed that I voted for Bush in the final election. I didn't. I voted for Harry Brown, since President Bush had Texas locked up.

There is room for discourse there, if people will take it.

Mozie ~~~ I was thinking the other day that it's, amazingly, been nearly a year since your foot surgery. Ever since you finally got rid of the darned cast you haven't mentioned it. How are your tootsies doing? Any regrets now that the anguish is long past?

Funny you should ask.....I was just at the podiatrist today, doing a pre-op consult; I'm having surgery on the other foot on the 27th.

This one should be easier; it's not going to be as involved, surgery-wise; I'm taking 5 weeks off of EVERYTHING so I can sit with my foot up in the air a LOT.

My right foot still has some stiffness.......it is definitely not "as good as new" but I guess it will just take some time........sitting in the whirlpool helps.....but I won't be able to do that for awhile. It doesn't bother me; I can walk fine & everything.

The 27th of December? Goodness, girl! Prayers will be starting up right away! I hope this surgery goes much better than the other one ..... or rather, the recovery.

Good Morning! Great breakfast, Lorena.

Still rubbing the sleep from my eyes, and waiting for the coffee to perk.

Good morning Lorena and the rest of the early bird crew!

It is about 55 degrees outside this morning, which explains why my sinuses are decompressing yet again.

I hate out of season weather!
