Do you mean tempura batter? Light and at times non existent?
To: Neets
If she could make the commute, she would do it in a hearbeat!
She is very good at display, having worked in retail for 25 years. She dusted and rearranged my bookshelves, helped me haul out decorations, helped arrange decorations, and generally was a big help.
My biggest problem is that the basement rec room has no windows, and since I am claustrophobic I HATE being down there by myself!
Even if she had done nothing but sit, I was glad for the company...LOL!

No!! Not at all...nothing LIKE tempura batter!!! First of all the egg roll is HUGE!!! Twice the size of normal ones...and the dough is light...and airy,,but has a good texture...not doughy like the normal ones...and when they serve it, they put it on an oval dish and slice it...(it's too big to eat withyour hands)...

Add water, cookie, stir..put in bowl, cover with plastic wrap, all done ;-)

Size is all relative to you....lol...

Oh, well sadly this room needs more than "display" work...a major overhaul is more like it... Miss Chaos uses it as her EVERYROOM...plus i never moved the bookcase and books back so they are stacked on the spare couch.

Spoon a little into a small bowl, and add a little water. Stir into a paste that meets your needs.

I was kinda close in my image of what you look like only I pictured you slim I was fairly thin right after I lost those 35 lbs. earlier this year. Guess American life and Thanksgiving have beefed me up a bit. I hope to get back down again, though. Maybe I should take tips from you. Certainly the walking would do me good.

Good comments about Texans. I will never forget Lott when he went down to Texas to visit with President-elect Bush. Trent looked like a peacock who decided to dress up like a cowboy. And there was President Bush, the true cowboy, without even trying.
I've raised the heat level in cooking over the years also. I used to not be able to handle any degree of heat, and now I am up to just below medium. :)

I am dumbfounded. I just came back from buying gas and on the way I saw a nice-looking car with a bumper sticker that said, "I sure miss President Clinton." I just cannot believe someone would spoil their nice car with a trashy message like that.
I resisted the temptation to run them off the road.
A Texas reader sums up nicely how much damage Trent Lott did to his party in the last 24 hours: "Thanks to Lott's kowtowing last night, the Dems win this round hands down, whether Lott stays or goes. If he stays, he's committed himself to pandering to racialists, though his Strom comment will never be forgiven. If he goes, the Dems get to say that the hateful Republican Party denounced him for attempting to make the party more considerate of African Americans. How much more damage will he do by the time they oust him on January 6?"

Yes, Dog. You MUST try wasabi. It is delicious. And since it's green, I think it must be very good for you so make sure you eat lots of it.

I used to not be able to handle any degree of heat, and now I am up to just below medium. :)I eat sliced jalapenos as a snack, like some folks eat olives or pickles. One of my school-mates makes a wonderful salsa verde with habeneros. He and I are the only ones that don't cry when we eat it.
Some of the stuff I ate in Korea was WAY hotter. LOL! I'm a lightweight when it comes to spicy, compared to some folks I know. ;>)

I can do you one better.
A female professor who works with me...she teaches in the Sociology program...I give her a ride home once in a while...
In the course of our conversation, as I had Sean Hannity on the radio, I mention how tired I was getting of the Lott issue and wished he would just quitely step out of the program.
she said, and I quote: "Yes, I agree, besides WHO in this country does NOT know that ALL republicans are racist?"....
I damn near drove my car off the mountain, then replied...."Well of course we know all Dems SWEAR all Republicans are racist, but we know how hard the dems work to keep the "Black Man Down"....
She quickly changed the subject to Christmas Shopping.
