Good morning, all. Papers report today that Trent Lott-a-Bull will withdraw his name for SML by the weekend. I hope they're right. I guess there's a chance he could do in our majority, but I don't think the public would like the Dims way of taking over the senate...again!

I must be crazy. Busy at work, with all the Christmas doings, I just made an offer on a new house yesterday. I currently have 1 1/2 acres and it's getting a little too much to keep up. This house is just two blocks down and is much smaller with a small yard. But, it is very dated and I can get it for a great price (I hope). A thorough remodel and I can have a great house in the same neighborhood...with a savings of $700 a month on my mortgage! How could I resist?

Just the thought of getting mine ready to show....Yikes! Gotta clean the closets! The realtor wants to start showing it next week....so I probably won't be around too much. Will check in when I can.

Christmas prep?... I'm done! :-) Even survived two trips to the post office. Just need to get Christmas dinner ready. whew!

Those crazy kids did make it to Louisiana on Saturday and should finally have some heat and water by today, phone service by Friday. Timeout, they waved back at ya, did you see? ;-)
