We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good morning!! Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
The Pope has accepted the resignation of Cardinal Law.
Jimmah has offerred to negotiate a peace between Israel and the Palestinians, but only if the two groups and the United States ask him to.
The United States has characterized the Iraqi report as incomplete - saying it does not detail things America knows has gone on in their nuclear program, for example.
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Cause, the Chairman.
Nope, my headache is still with me. (and I never get headaches) So I've been sleeping and reading and getting up to answer the bloody damned telephone. The girls are still out on the town, having called twice, once to request information that required both an internet search and a telephone call.
I just want for the evening to end and to be able to get some sleep.
I'm even leaving the kitchen a mess tonight. I'll enslave someone tomorrow to help clean up from the platters.

We will emphasize self-reliance, ice-fishing, open-faced sandwiches, and Danish pastries. Cross-country skiing is the official sport.
Why not? It is just as valid as Kwanza!
What gripes me about Kwanza is not the holiday itself...heck, it's a free country.
What drives me nuts is that although this is a made-up holiday, the news people act like it is a centuries-old African tradition. It was started by a Berkley professor in 1966!
Now the news people give us lessons about Swahili, and African food, and such, all tied in to this "African" holiday, WHICH DOESN'T EXIST IN AFRICA BECAUSE IT IS A MADE-UP AMERICAN HOLIDAY!!!

So whazzup with the Lott thing today. I missed it somewhere during my mise-en-place adventures.

I hope the GOP senators elect someone other than Lott. As many of you know, imho, he has no spine.
After reading so many "ban Christmas" threads...I just have to type this: "Jesus is the reason for the season."

I should prolly be more worried than I am about Sunday's game, but the Pack usually does pretty well in SF.
Well, where some of us are, it ain't quite as late as where y'all are.:^)
Hubby & bros. & a friend are upstairs cooking spaghetti carbonara and who knows what else. I am hiding out in the basement, watching Cheers, going through Christmas decorations, and freeping.:)
I have taken asprin. 4 total since 3:45 CST.

Ice pack?
I was shopping the other day and saw a Christmas pin that I just had to buy. It says "Jesus is the reason" ..... and the J is much larger than the other letters ...... it's an upside-down candy cane. Since the other letters are gold and the J is red and white stripes, it really stands out and is noticeable. That's a terrible description ...... and you guys won't get thrilled about a piece of cheap jewelry ...... but I thought it was really neat. Will be wearing it a lot in the coming week and a half ....... :-)
ROFL!!!
That is so funny! Go for it, Jane!
They made me call a Starbucks. To find out how late they stay open. LOL! I'm somewhat intimidated by caffine laden Trills and mini-Trills. I'm thinking about setting the cot up in my office.

Damn the French. They make food wonderful, and disgusting, all at the same time.
