Funny you should mention Mapquest. I was just on my way there. I've been poring over our county and city maps marking my territory, but can only find about half of the road or street names. My route is considered rural, but does include a few places in the city limits. Mostly, though, they'll be fairly spread out. Dear Mrs. Mulliner has offered to drive for me for two hours tomorrow, bless her heart. I think it will help get me started.
We knocked off the bagging and taping of all 630 books by 7 pm. With our two oldest helping, we got into a real groove and not only got the work done, but also illustrated division of labor, something one of them is learning about in social studies.
Now, please, keep those goat recipes to yourself....at least until they produce some kids.
Lysie, was it you who said you'd done this job before? Why didn't you warn me what I was getting into?
Mapquest is wonderful! I had about 30 road names I couldn't find on our county map. I type one into Mapquest and it pops up with a map including surrounding roads which includes several others I'm hunting for. If I just print out a few Mapquest maps, I think I'll be in very good shape. It's amazing how well it works.
