She would have gotten richer quicker if she only put a cup of hot coffee between her legs and tried to drive her car!

And your statement caused *me* intense pain and suffering, so you'll be hearing from MY shyster soon. :P

Notice the domain name is different.
I called them. They even transferred me to the proper court but all I got was voice mail. It is their site.
Texans are just so darn nice......

My judge friend is the County Judge. In Texas that is akin to the County Administrator, although they have someone else by that name. County Judge is an elected office, and he presides over the Commisioner's Court, which is like a Board of Supervisors in Wisconsin. He wears a robe, but it is not the same thing as a circuit court or other judicial office.

I believe in fighting fire with fire. Anyone who wants to pony up the fee can get detailed information on this Margie Denise Schoedinger.
Big, Big Mistake.
Even posting that kind of thing is going to give us a black eye and validate everything Tommy Daschle said about "Threats" and such and so on.
IMHO, Screw fighting anything with fire. If it's a legit story the press will pick up on it soon enough. If not, it will die it's own hoaxly little death.

I notice you answered reply 31, and you answered reply 40. Yet you skipped OHelix' question in reply 32. Why is that?

True - public records are one thing, but when you start to go any further than public record it should be only to get validation of the facts. The line is real, real fine on these things, so only use what you can find in public record. If this is a hoax, it's entirely possible that Ms. Schoedinger isn't even aware her name is on the document...

LOL!
"Hello!"
"Um, yeah.. are you like, the slut who sued Dubya Bush?"
"Why yes, I am.."
"Um, okay.. I am with the electric company then, is your refrigerator running?"

Exactly.. And even if she did sue him, from what I have seen sleeping dogs like this are best left un-kicked.

I bet she has Prince Albert in a can too.

So is there anyone near Fort Bend that would be willing to call the plaintiff and ask her for a statement on behalf of Free Republic? If so, it is probably best if you reply before you do, so we don't have 50 people calling her. (not likely, but we do not want to harrass)

that mail address is probably a typo. The ccweb.co.fort-bend.tx.us site seems legit as you can link to some stuff on it from the county clerks site at
http://www.co.fort-bend.tx.us/Admin_of_Justice/County_Clerk/index_info_research.htm As harpseal pointed out, anybody can file a suit, and they don't need a lawyer to do it in most cases. The county clerk has to file it, and issue the neccessary paperwork, no matter how nutty the suite might be. It's called equal protection under the law.
The judge will throw it out so fast and hard that it will probably land in Monterrey, Mexico, which is up in the mountains some distance from Ft. Bend county Texas.
