They have to slug it out in primaries, plus unless these folks (dems) are truly dumber than even we all think, they are quietly rethinking the Clinton thing.

Because Gore will run such a nasty campaign that everyone else will be lower. Even the poll that has him at 19% has everyone else lower, and he hasn't started to talk ugly yet.
