Sorry .. I didn't mean to rant at you .. I'm just upset at this whole thing

Oh I don't think your rant was out of line....I agree. I think on the one hand the GOP should just tell the dems to shut the he@@ up. On the other hand, I wish that the GOP had selected someone other than Lott to be the Majority leader after the cop out during the impeachment....Then again this whole thing can keep the dems from getting a real message about positions from being developed and they can just keep hounding on the same ol dead horse that people are not buying ( like class distinction...money stuff). I don't know. I do think that if the pubbies don't get and keep a strong message they can lose the base and not get the swing vote. Now on a slightly more optimistic level...if Sharpton keeps hounding on as a serious candidate for the dems, he may well get the black voters but I doubt he will gather many of the white votes or other minorities...in which case, then the dems base will be split sort of like when the christian right wingers were willing to sacrifice the party for the principles they strongly believe in...maybe the playing field will have some sort of balance in that way..who knows.

Val..did you decorate that tree?It is something to look at.

Off on errands. Tomorrow we go off to collect all our Toys for Tots toys to see what we have for the 3 parties next week. So far lots of stuffed toys..some sooooo cute....and huge too...
