The goose will be great. The fat will drip off of the goose as it turns. Everything I cook in the Ronco turns out great.

You need to render the goose and drain off as much fat as possible or you could have the Fire Dept over unexpectedly ;-)Put it on a rack, with water in the pan.My mother made this once for Austrian brother in law, and what a pain!!
pssst....goose is really overrated ;-)It has none of the rich taste of dark turkey meat.I can find out more on how best to cook it and how long per pound, as well.
